Augmented Reality (AR) art gallery with music composed on art of Jack B. Yeats by Dr Svetlana Rudenko, with Irish song arrangements for violin and piano by Kenneth Rice and narration by Prof. Mads Haahr. Experience the psychogeography of places where Irish artist Jack B. Yeats (1871-1957) took inspiration for his paintings while living in Dublin. You will hear arrangements of Irish songs, such as “Molly Malone,” “Oh Dublin, you’re my city” and “Port na bPúcaí.”

In this app, we introduce six episodes of multisensory soundscapes on six of his paintings, which are on permanent exhibition in the National Gallery of Ireland: The Liffey Swim (1923), which is placed exactly in the location of the painting’s perspective, Flower Girl (1926), Dinner Hour at the Docks (1928), Old Walls (1945), The Singing Horseman (1949), and Grief (1951). Narration for the six episodes include extracts from John B. Yeats (Jack B. Yeats’ father) who was a famous writer and from Eamonn Andrews’ interview with Jack B. Yeats on Radio Éireann.
